UPPER TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly brandished a firearm during a road rage altercation on State Highway 50 in Cape May County.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the incident occurred on February 6 at approximately 12:37 p.m. on the northbound side of the State Highway 50 bridge. The suspect, driving a black Cadillac SUV with an unknown New Jersey registration, became involved in a dispute with the victim, a USPS postal worker.
Both individuals exited their vehicles during the confrontation, at which point the suspect displayed a firearm before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 40 and 50 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, with dirty blonde hair, a scruffy beard, and wearing a dark t-shirt.
