GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – An incident in Galloway Township last night resulted in injuries to two police officers. Around 8:30 PM, officers from the Galloway Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Cresson Avenue following a 911 hangup. During their investigation, the officers were attacked, leading to one officer being stabbed on the side of his face and another sustaining a head injury. Both officers were promptly transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Division.
